World’s largest protected marine reserve in Antarctica

On the 27th of October of this year the news that the Ross Sea will become the world’s largest protected marine reserve, reached us. Of course, we as polar enthusiasts were very happy with this decision, which was made by the Commission for the Conservation of Antarctic Marine Living Resources.
